Tabon caves
in Lipoon Point, Quezon Palawan  is known as the “Cradle of Philippine Civilization” discovered and excavated by Dr. Robert Fox in the early 1960’s. The “Tabon Man”  skull inside a “Manunggul” burial jar was carbon dated to 22,000 yrs – one of the oldest human fossil discoveries.
