Palawan - a Great Tourist Destination

Palawan Province
A Great Tourist Destination
Palawan is the last frontier in the Philippines where Man and Mother Nature happily co-exist… its natural beauty evokes bliss and serenity… its people welcome you to enjoy your pilgrimage with this reminder: bring with you  good intentions; and leave nothing but beautiful memories and the lessons of life learned from nature!

How to reach this last frontier?... see your guide below…

Palawan is one of the major tourist destinations in the world and becoming to be Asia’s number one! It has two World Heritage Sites, world class island resorts, superb diving sites, unique flora and fauna and numerous unrivaled attractions…to mention a few.

The famous Puerto Princesa underground river, a World Heritage Site…

Puerto Princesa Underground River

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River  National Park, locally known as "the Underground River" is located about 50 kilometers north of the city of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines. It was declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site on December 4, 1999. It encompasses a full mountain-to-sea ecosystem.

It features a limestone karst mountain landscape with an 8.2 km. navigable underground river, flowing directly into the South China Sea. It includes major formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and several large chambers. The lower portion of the river is subject to tidal influences. This underground river is the longest in Asia and second only (in length) to the underground river located in  Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.

Incessant dripping of mineralized water for millennia formed these stalactites and stalagmites…reminding us of the work of Nature that no man can duplicate.

This shot reminds us of the “stargate” in the movies… see the apparent “stargate” opening in the  middle of the picture in the right…

The Calamianes group of islands and surroundings…

Calamianes in northern Palawan is a group of hundreds of islands and islets composed of Coron, Busuanga, Culion and Linapacan towns.

What Coron can offer?...

Natural wonders of Coron, Palawan…

Kayangan Lake at Coron Island… Asia’s cleanest inland water!

Busuanga town…
Even among its islands, Busuanga lives up to its aquatic features… see the two islands below? …resembling a fish?...a submerged stingray?... or a crab?... or whatever your imagination comes up…

What Busuanga town can offer? … sanctuary of African wildlife… islands… beaches… diving spots… choose your wild…
